I have a blogoversary coming up real soon so I am having a giveaway. Anyone who leaves a comment on this post will have a chance to win the little quiltie pictured here. I will draw for a winner on Sunday, July 15 late in the evening. So if you have not entered before Sunday, you still can enter that day.
I made this quiltie using one of my favorite photos. It is a 1920's photo of a group of women who are probably gathered for a class reunion. They are posing by playground equipment - a Giant Stride - or at least that is what we called it when we were children. The piece measures 4" x 6" and is ready to hang. The photo is printed onto white cotton, and the fabrics, trims and button are all vintage. Good luck, and I hope you will enjoy it.
How fun! Thanks for the chance to win. I love the old photo you used.

It really is adorable! And congrats on lots of fun blogging!
ReplyDeleteI am over from Button Floozie's neck of the woods and would love this. As you know blogging can bring up memories and honey I just found something I have not heard before. The Giant Strides. We had those in our elementary school yard and I had been looking for someone else who knew the term. If I were to win I, in turn would send you one of my original paintings. Now I did not say that to sway you, in fact send me your address by way of e-mail and I will send you something. You can find my e-mail in my profile.
