My Article is Published in the Winter 2016 Sew Somerset Magazine

I received my complimentary copy of the Winter 2016 Sew Somerset magazine where I have an article published.  Then I saw it at the book store yesterday.  This magazine has been a favorite of mine for several years, and I'm happy to be part of it.

I wrote a how-to article about a series of mixed media cards I created using rusted fabric, vintage lace, buttons and original old photographs.

Love the article and your great project! I didn't quite understand where the magazine page goes. Is it just for the folder, which I guess wasn't shown? Do you have a photo of it? I'm going to try this but maybe hand sew to save my machine. Thanks!

Hi Ret, The magazine page that makes up the folder is shown on the second page of the article. It says Leonardo Da Vinci and has an image of Jesus that is a work study for The Last Supper painting. The article shows it with a few cards coming out of it.
Have fun with your project. I probably wouldn't use my newer sewing machine for the rusted fabric - I have a clunker that I abuse for those projects. Ha!
